Meet the team that keeps this farm going
From boarding horses to training to raising animals and developing relationships, our farm is open to the community and welcome to all people and families. We hope that when you visit the farm, you get a break from everyday life and enjoy yourself. The farm includes 7-acres with horse stables, a large arena, multiple pastures for animal-grazing, and plenty of parking. Our full-time staff ensures that everyone has access when necessary and all animals are taken care of on a 24/7 basis. Come visit us!
Our Story
Our mission is to educate, inspire, and connect people of all ages to the wonders of farm life. Through interactive experiences with animals, agriculture, and equestrian riding lessons, we strive to foster a greater understanding of God's creation, encourage lifelong learning, and create lasting memories for families and communities.
Johan and Kate Petterson, the owners of JAGS Farm, are keen on making sure it's a place where kids can enjoy various animals in a safe way and learn all about farm life. Growing up on a small ranch outside of Mexico City and having close family in the horse-racing business in Mexico, Johan has always had a passion for animals. With 4 small children to homeschool, Johan and Kate appreciate that all families can enjoy being at the farm and learning new things.
